Fene Ouel Amal & Galia Club Mascara – Fight Song
Music and lyrics by Meghdir ben Ali.

Jacky Baron – Charly Run (1979)
Jacky Baron is pretty mysterious, although he does appear to have his own youtube channel with seven (now 8) loyal subscribers. Most of the twelve songs on Don’t Play That Song were co-written by Elliouz Rabin, a prolific Israeli songwriter and former goalkeeper for Beitar Ramla F.C., a second-tier Israeli football club.

José Vicente Asuar – Así Hablo El Computador (1979)
The best thing to ever come out of Chile was created with the COMDASUAR, a computer with only 76 bytes of memory.

Tino Contreras y Su Grupo – La Rana Loca (1980)
The group performed eight concerts in front of a full house at the Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico City. You can enjoy a perfect view of the historic Palacio on the 9th floor of the Sears department store right across the street. (Apparently Sears is still doing ok in Mexico.)

The Holy Ghost Reception Committee #9 – Know They’re You
(The Torchbearers, 1968)
To alleviate the boredom of weekly Mass, students from Regis Jesuit High School in New York City started writing and performing their own songs. They ended up with a recording contract with the Church of the Apostle of St. Paul.

Compaoré Issouf – Ouedraogo
A joyful ditty from the Burkinabe carpenter-turned-musician who grew up listening to his mother hum the traditional songs of Burkina Faso.
