The boring information about Dennis MacDavid is that he fronted a rock band called The Pilots. Maybe they were famous, I don’t know. But the exciting tidbit about David MacDennis as I like to call him, is that he was a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, a registered Veterinary Surgeon, a Special Consultant in Animal Husbandry, and a distinguished scholar in Veterinary Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Livestock Management. The list goes on and on! Basically he racked up enough distinctions in vet-med to make even the most decorated show horse jealous. But wait, there’s more. He also wrote a book on poultry management AND a novel called Red Lips In The Wardrobe, a harrowing account of a rogue sheep who discovers a tube of lipstick and all kinds of craziness ensues.
